AIESEC Volunteering Program
Since 2017, Srijan Public School has partnered with AIESEC, an international youth-run, non-governmental and not-for-profit organization that provides young people with leadership development, cross-cultural internships, and global volunteer exchange experiences. Their global student volunteers have worked with our students on activities like teaching English, dance, cultural exchange, etc.
Our students benefit tremendously from the cross cultural exposure from the AIESEC volunteers. Our volunteers have been from different countries like Dubai, Russia, Indonesia, Switzerland and Italy, and they have really opened up the global vision of our children. They learn about different cultures, languages, and art forms, among other aspects.
A word from the AIESEC Dehradun organizers: ‘‘Our experience as AIESEC Dehradun with Srijan Public School has been immensely warm and positive. They go out of their way to ensure that the experience is mutually nourishing for our volunteers as well. Srijan Public School has provided a safe environment for all the volunteers that have taken part in the school’s teaching project. They make sure that the volunteers are actually gaining the experience of the Indian culture. Srijan Public School is really motivated to develop the young minds of India, by positively developing the hard skills of their students and making them the leaders of tomorrow that we dream of.’’
