Waste Warriors is a solid waste management NGO that works towards a vision of a clean and healthy India, with systems in place to ensure every citizen disposes their waste correctly and feels a sense of civic responsibility and national pride regarding cleanliness. They are based in Dehradun, Rishikesh, Dharamshala and Corbett. 

 

Since 2017, Srijan Public School has been associated with Waste Warriors Green Gurukul Program- an education program which is aimed at sensitizing students to their environment through hands-on and thought-provoking activities keeping in line with the Prime Minister’s “Swachh Bharat” campaign.  One of the main objectives of the program is to ensure schools have an effective, sustainable, and affordable waste management system.
